Payment and Refund Policy
Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Scope of the Policy and Services Covered
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of access to Course A, a professional resource dedicated to studio production in motion. The service covers studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and creating smooth high-quality workflows for television news and live shows. It governs transactions made through screenflixzo for digital access, subscriptions, and related professional training materials. The policy is designed for customers in the United Kingdom and complies with UK consumer protection laws including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices on screenflixzo are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Any additional charges such as currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider or bank are your responsibility and are not included in the listed price. screenflixzo reserves the right to adjust prices for future subscriptions or renewals with prior notice to existing customers.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers where available. All payments are processed securely through third-party providers that comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. Payment authorisation occurs at the time of order placement. Your card details are not stored by screenflixzo. In the event of a payment failure due to insufficient funds or incorrect details, the transaction will not be completed until resolved.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
Upon successful payment you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details and access instructions. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation. Access to Course A digital content begins immediately after confirmation unless you exercise your cancellation rights within the applicable period.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under UK law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without providing a reason. For digital content, cancellation rights end once you begin downloading or streaming the material. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds for unused periods are subject to the eligibility rules below.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available within the 14-day cooling-off period if no substantial content has been accessed. Refunds are not provided for completed downloads, partial use of subscription periods, or after the cooling-off period expires. Promotional offers, gift subscriptions and customised training materials are non-refundable once delivered. Technical issues caused by your equipment or internet connection do not qualify for refund.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund contact us via the form on the Contacts page or email [email protected]. Include your order number, full name, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Requests must be submitted within the relevant time limit. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days and provide further instructions if needed.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Each refund request is reviewed individually. We will inspect whether the cooling-off period applies and whether content has been accessed. You will be notified of approval or rejection by email within 14 days of receiving your request. If rejected we will explain the reason and outline any remaining options.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, though bank or card issuer times may vary and can extend up to 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.
Special Rules for Digital Content and Subscriptions
Digital access to Course A begins immediately upon confirmation. If you request cancellation after starting to view materials you may still receive a partial refund proportionate to unused content at our discretion. Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. No refunds are given for periods already used.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
If a payment fails we will notify you and suspend access until resolved. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Chargebacks or disputes are handled in accordance with card scheme rules. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities while preserving your consumer rights.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR. These rights cannot be excluded or limited. If you believe your rights have been breached you may seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution services.
